In this novel, a young man sentenced to solitude tells the story of his life, who is also a writer. Because he thinks his job as such is to ruthlessly report everything that has happened to others and to himself, he is constantly looking for the causes of events while telling the story. The title itself suggests this: a writer, the narrator says, as if he was always carrying a camera with him that he never turns off, and that captures his gestures as well as others.
